Summary of the book: This book is about a couple of kids starting things around school. Arthur and Francine are a square-dancing duo in gym class. Their friend Muffy tries to switch partners with Francine during square-dancing. Francine refuses to trade. Francine complains that Francine doesn't want to share Arthur. Well their other friend Binky thinks them two are in love and they like each other. They denied they are in love and just friends. Their friends keep nagging Arthur and Francine on it. Arthur and Francine ask each other if they wanted to kiss and they both said no. They would rather have a head full of lice. This book is too cute and funny! Kids can relate to these situations that happen in school. This would be a great chapter book for beginner readers. Students would also like this because this book is based off a TV show “Arthur”.
