Summary of the book: This is a book about five little peas waiting to bust out of their shell. Each peas dreams of what they would like to do. One pea wanted to fly to the sun and dance with the raven. Another pea wanted to fly to the moon and dance with the frog who ruled the night. The third and fourth pea wanted to eat with the emperor. The fifth pea did not know what he wanted to do. The only thing he could think of was what is to happen will happen. All the peas got their wishes when they came out of the shell but with a different aspect of the wish. The smallest and fifth peas got the most rewarding wish ever! This is a great book to read to the kids! As a teacher we can explain to them that you can always dream and wish but it may not always come out to like you want it. Things can be rewarding if you have patience.
