Summary of the book: This is a book about helping P.B. find out why his allowance has shrunken. Mike and Maria was on there was to a ball game. On the way there they see their friend P.B. P.B. is having a difficult time understanding why his allowance has shrunken because he has not spent any money. Every day the peanut butter jar P.B. keeps his money in is looking smaller. Mike and Maria help P.B. find out that his sister is taking his money. The story just does not end there but it helps a student with their math skills. This book has problems for the student to figure out. This would be a great book to read while teaching a math lesson.
