Summary of the book: This book is about a puppy that is looking for a family. Come to find out this puppy named Scout is a great rescue dog! Lizzie and Charles Patterson have a foster home for puppies. Scout loves to help people. They had two families lined up to adopt Scout. Meg was super excited about having two family interested in Scout. Well at the last minute both families end up backing out of the adoption service. Lizzie was sad that both families backed out. Then Meg steps in wanting to adopt Scout. This would be a great book to encourage reading. It would be a fun book to encourage children to read. This book would go great in my future classroom library.
